Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Alternate Route Mediation LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website, booking a session, or engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Alternate Route Mediation provides mediation services to assist parties in resolving disputes. Mediation is a voluntary process, and mediators do not provide legal advice, representation, or guarantee any specific outcome.

2. Confidentiality

All communications during mediation are confidential to the fullest extent allowed by law. Exceptions may apply where disclosure is required by law (e.g., threats of harm, child abuse).

3. Booking & Payment

  • Standard rate: $250 per party, per hour with a 2-hour minimum (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

  • Booking is confirmed only after payment of the required deposit or full invoice.

  • Accepted payment methods: Zelle, ACH transfer, or check (must be received within 24 hours of invoice).

4. Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled time.

  • Emergency bookings and VIP program sessions follow separate cancellation terms outlined in the client’s service agreement.

5. Additional Fees

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Emergency bookings within 72 hours.

  • Weekend or after-hours sessions.

  • On-site sessions requiring travel.

  • VIP or priority scheduling programs.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled sessions.

  • Provide accurate information and documents as needed.

  • Treat all parties, including the mediator, with respect and professionalism.

7. Limitation of Liability

Alternate Route Mediation and its mediators are not responsible for any decisions made or agreements reached between parties. Our role is to facilitate communication, not to impose outcomes.

 

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes related to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.

 

9. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any updates will be posted on our website with an updated “Effective Date.”
